Norris Wise, Sr. is an educator, business consultant, associate pastor, and inspirational speaker who currently serves as an adjunct professor of Human Resource Management in the School of Business at Park University - Oceanside. In 2019, he was honored as Outstanding Faculty of the Year.
Wise is a native Floridian, who served 21 years in the uniformed services - retiring as the subject matter expert and principal advisor to the Senior Director of the largest operational force in the United States Marine Corps for equal opportunity and diversity management. A certified DoD mediator, he is a graduate of the Defense Equal Opportunity Management Institute. Wise also serves on the Board of Directors for an emergent nonprofit organization that seeks to restore and empower the youth in becoming holistically, healthy, and self-sustaining individuals, as well as an adivsor to the CEO of a security consulting company and, provides assistance to the U.S. Navy Chaplain Corps at a military installation to support service members and their families as advocates of religious, moral, and spiritual well-being and resiliency.
He earned his B.A. in Communication Studies, MSA in Human Resources Administration and is a doctoral candidate in the Business Psychology Department (Organizational Leadership) at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology. He has presented at several conferences and is a member of the Academy of Management and National Communication Association.
