Ron Fetherson served over 30 years, retiring as Marine Corps Sergeant Major, Senior Enlisted Adviser. Ron served in every capacity of the Marine Corps', Air, Ground, Support and Command. His achievements include three tours of duty as a Drill Instructor; Company First Sergeant of a Military Police Company that was deployed to the Persian Gulf region in direct support of Operation DESERT SHIELD/DESERT STORM, Headquarters Company and Recruit Training Company, Parris Island, SC; and serving as Sergeant Major in the following capacities: Support Battalion, Second Recruit Training Battalion, Marine Wing Support Squadron, Headquarters and Service Battalion, 8th Marine Regiment, 2D Marine Division, and Training Command, Quantico, VA.
During his honorable career, Ron earned many awards including the Legion of Merit Award, three Meritorious Service Medals, four Navy/Marine Corps Commendation Medals, the Navy/Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and the Combat Action Ribbon.
Upon his retirement, he served 15 years as an Antiterrorism Officer for the Department of Defense, United States Marine Corps, Pentagon, Washington DC. He also served on The Advisory Committee on Arlington National Cemetery which provides counsel to the Secretary of the Army regarding our future planning and related matters.
Throughout his career, Ron quickly earned the reputation of a subject matter expert and gifted speaker. Many organizations request him for his speaking and motivational services.
Ron is married to Sergeant Major Parisa Fetherson, a retired Marine herself. Together they have two adult daughters, Monica and Tracey.
